Community Edition (Free)
Without a license Cerb4 operates in free mode, for either full-time or evaluation use, with the following limitations:
- You are limited to 3 workers.
- You are limited to 3 groups (such as: Sales, Support, Billing).
- A brief Cerberus Helpdesk link is appended to outgoing mail.
When you install the software you'll be given an opportunity to introduce yourself in exchange for two free goodies: direct product support and a registered 3 worker license. The registered license will remove the tagline on your outgoing e-mail and it will allow you to create unlimited groups.
We offer higher worker limits on free licenses to registered charities, established opensource projects and some hobbyist websites. Please contact us to apply.
On the bright side, with the free version:
- You can use nearly all the helpdesk functionality at no cost.
- You're welcome to use it free forever; it won't expire on you.
