Tracking worker performance using profiles, subtotals, and the Activity Log

Introduction

Using subtotals on the Activity Log from a worker's profile gives you a broad overview of their contributions during a given date range. By clicking on a particular activity you can review a summary of all the related activity. For example, if you click the "Comment Created" activity, you'll be shown a list of all the comments created by that worker. This provides insight into how workers spent their time in the helpdesk.

Instructions

Displaying a worker's activity

  1. Click profiles in the top right navigation menu:

  2. Select a worker by clicking on their name.

  3. Click on the Activity Log tab:

Using subtotals

  1. Expand the subtotals if they aren't visible by clicking on the subtotals link in the top right of the worklist:

  2. If the subtotals aren't sorted by Activity, click on the title of the subtotals and select it from the menu:

Filtering to a specific date range

You can save a preset for the date range so you don't have to add the filter manually each time you view a worker's profile.

  1. Select Save filters as preset from the -action- dropdown in the Filters section:

  2. Any time you want to use this preset, simply select it from the menu on the Filters bubble:
